Finding something you love to do is tough, but it’s worth the search. Sometimes what you find is more than the sum. To most people traveling on a motorcycle is a rebellious past time for the misguided. A dangerous hobby to be out grown once adulthood is reached, but if you love to ride all the insanity melts into a tiny bead of sweat blown from your brow as you motor down the road… Riding is my panacea, all things become trivial and minute as the road is discovered. It brings clarity and a complete awareness of the moment as all my senses are in a heightened state of engagement. Traveling on my motorcycle becomes the present state of being I should be living in each moment of this life. That state carries with me on those days I am not given the opportunity to ride, but it wanes as my desire to ride is ever present…

There are some that know why they ride, there are some that are still searching for the meaning, and there are those that will never quiet understand why we travel on our motorcycles. For those that are ever calm and always content I look forward to meeting you out on the open road. For those still searching for the reason you ride, keep riding you will find it in the most unexpected of places, and for you that don’t understand, it’s okay… For me I just need to ride, ride, ride….

This is my 2012 BMW 1200 GSA still sitting on the show room floor. It’s a beautiful sight. How I came about the bike is a story I’ll get around sharing one day. I hope to ride this bike to the ends of the earth…

Motorcycle Traveler is about freedom, freedom to find your own path, freedom from the cubical, freedom from the quiet smooth mono generic mundane madness that makes up a lot of the days in our lives. I was told once “We only get one ride on this Ferris wheel you might as well enjoy it while you can!” it has become more prevalent, more searing into my soul, our time is limited.., “they” (whoever they are) say you should do what you Love and forget about the money… Motorcycles have always been a passion of mine, a passion I hope to share… Motorcycle Traveler is being filled with wonderfully brilliant ideas about where to ride, how to ride, tips on motorcycle riding, on what to bring with you when you travel on your bike. What it takes to get your bike from one country to the next. You’ll be able to find shipping companies I’ve dealt with, places to rent motorcycles, motorcycle tours, and a host of other thoughts and ideas We’ll Review gear: reviews of protective riding gear, reviews of accessories I’ve added to the bike, reviews of cameras I use, and a lot more as we grow. Great places to travel to on your motorcycle. Pictures and videos of those travels Most importantly we would  like to hear from you, about your travels on your motorcycle, any tips, reviews, or anything else you would like to share with the community. We look forward to hearing from you, but even more importantly we look forward to seeing you out riding your motorcycle!

To contact us here at MotorcycleTraveler.com use the link at the top of the page. We have a Twitter handle and a Facebook page as of now, just getting this site up and running is taking more time than we really want. We do however want a site that people enjoy and is helpful so we’ll get it ironed out, still we’d rather be a motorcycle traveler than building it… We have limited access to communications and is therefore why we have built this  site to share our motorcycle travels. If you would like to contribute or keep in touch please get in contact with us! Thank you and we’ll see you out there riding!
